Pheasants in the Park

Sometimes life grabs you by the neck and drags you along. The last few weeks have been really tough, what with exams and everything, but despite this, I have been faithfully trudging on with at least some photography. I’ve been shooting photographs every day (missed only one so far!) for the 365 Project. It’s actually been kinda good. We all need motivation for our photography sometimes, and this is just a great source. I take my camera almost everywhere now.
Sometimes when I’m out shooting for the sake of 365, I get to shoot things that warrant blogging. Just a few days ago, I got to shoot a pheasant up in Holyrood Park, and I just have to blog it! No breathtaking shots, but for me, it just brought me back to basics, and filled me with elation.

Yesterday, after my second exam, I went back into Holyrood park for a few hours shooting. Again, nothing spectacular, but it really got me going.

Anyways, that’s all for today. It looks like my summer plans have changed for the better. A trip to Thailand may or may not be in the works! I’ll keep you posted! Really just wanted to let you know that I haven’t died completely, and that I will be back in a new and exciting way in the summer! Keep your eyes peeled, and keep checking out the site!
